BOUND FOR AUSTRALIA

PREMIER OF ONTARIO & PARTY

EXAMINATION OF POLITICAL METHODS. COMMONWEALTH TREATMENT OF PROBLEMS. By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright. SAN FRANCISCO. January 6. The Premier of Ontario. Mr Mitchell Hepburn, and his party, sailed by the Mariposa for Australia, where they will be the guests of the Government. "We are making this long journey for the sole purpose of determining just how Australia has done such a very neat job of solving problems which have stumped the best brains in many parts of the world," Mr Hepburn said. "If we find the system our long trip away from home at a time when we all should stay at home will not be wasted."

Other passengers by the Mariposa are Mi’ Zane Grey and a party of scientists from the American Museum of Natural History, who are to study the fish of Australian and New Zealand watei's.
