PRESENTS SENT TO BRITISH PREMIER. GRATITUDE FOR PEACE EFFORTS. (British Official Wireless.) RUGBY, January 4. The Prime Minister, Mr /Chamberlain, received, as a tribute for his efforts in the cause of peace, a present from the of Malta, comprising a Maltese lace table cloth, a. silver model of a Maltese boat, and a cheque for £5O.
Mr ‘Chamberlain gratefully accepted the articles and donated the cheque to a Maltese charity.
