DR. GOEBBELS
THE ALLEGED THRASHING.
•DAILY MIRROR” PERSISTS IN STORY.

The "Daily Mirror” is persisting in the story that Dr Goebbels, the German Minister of Propaganda, was thrashed by the husband of the Czech film star Lida Baarova, and predicts that the Ministry of Propaganda will gradually pass into the control of the Foreign Ministry and that Dr Goebbels will be reduced to the position of chief of the Nazi Party in Berlin. It states that Herr Hitler is hesitant at present to deprive him of his Ministerial rights, fearing that it would precipitate a party crisis.
