MANY SUICIDES
RECORD NUMBER REPORTED IN NEW YORK. By Telegraph—Press Association —Copyright. NEW YORK. January 3. The police announced that 24 suicides occurred during the holidays, which is the highest, lota! ever recorded over a three-day period in the history of Now York. Five occurred on Saturday, 14 on Sunday, and five on Monday. Several suicide attempts failed. The national total of accidental deaths is now more than 30G.
