Aviation, commerce, and radio have played a big part in giving New Zealand its correct geographical position in the world as the average American knows it, but there are still instances of some American people wanting to attach the Dominion to Australia. The latest example is a paragraph on the “Rotary Around the World” page of the current issue of “The Rotarian.” Under the caption, “Australia,” it tells how the Rotary Club of Wellington was quick to start a programme of community service in providing Xray equipment for the local hospital, and how the fund for its purchase came from the screening of a film and the generous gift of a Wellington Rotarian.
