RAINFALL FOR DECEMBER.

("Times-Age” Special.)

The following is the rainfall for December and also for the year ending December 31. 1938:—Rain fell on ■ 18 days in December, the total for the month being 617 points, compared with 203 points for December, 1937.

In 1938, 65.10 inches of rain were registered, against 47.13 inches in 1937. The year 1938 recorded the heaviest rainfall for 10 years. In 1935 62 inches 30 points were registered.
