Under the new laws, practically all Jewish shops and business houses in Danzig were closed today. Jewish leaders have been warned that pogroms must be expected unless thousands of Jews leave the city this month. It is understood that the Nazi authorities intend that the whole Jewish population of five thousand should be banished before the end of March.
