WHEAT MARKETING

CANADIAN PRAIRIE PROVINCES. WINNIPEG. Wheat marketing by farmers in the Prairie Provinces of Canada from August 1 to November 18 amounted to 238,860,714 bushels as compared with 90,489,214 bushels in the corresponding period last year. Export clearances during this period amounted to 54,854,518 bushels while 176,878,112 bushels still remain in storage, including the quantity held over from last year’s crop. A year ago, exports had amounted to 30,871,163 bushels and the quantity held in storage totalled 69,823,374 bushels.
