LONDON, December 30.
A New Year message signed by members of the House of Lords and House of Commons, the trade unions, churchmen, actors and writers has been sent on behalf of the China Campaign Committee to Marshal Chiang Kai-shek congratulating him on "his heroic resistance offered Japanese aggression in 1933,” and sending wishes for victory in 1939. “We are determined,” says the message, “tnat our work for China shall continue in 1939. We shall send still more money to China. We shall widen the boycott of Japanese goods and persist in demanding that the British Government, not merely extends export credits to China, but also grants loans and joins the United States in stopping the supply of -oil and war materials to Japan.
