NEW RECORD ESTABLISHED IN BRITAIN. (British Official Wireless.) RUGBY, December 29. The volume of letters and parcels carried by the Post Office this Christmas was 20 per cent greater than last year and constituted a record. Five thousand more staff were engaged because of transport difficulties caused by snow and ice and all deliveries Were effected by Christmas morning.
