WOOL MARKET
TIMARU CHEQUE. (By Telegraph—Brass Association.) TIMARU, December 30. The total cheque for the Timaru wool sale amounted to £201,802 which was paid for 15,572 bales. At the corresponding sale last year 14,218 bales were sold for a total of £241,680. The average price a bale this year was £l2 19s, against £l6 19s lid for the first sale last season.
