MARKET FOR EGGS
SALE IN UNITED KINGDOM. MONTREAL. Canada is developing a good maFxet for eggs in the United Kingdom. The eggs are collected in time to be shipped on an outgoing vessel, within 24 hours of being laid. They are kept in cold storage on the vessel and made available to the British public while still fresh. During the six months ending September, 634,293 dozen eggs were thus shipped from Canada to the United Kingdom as compared with 234,233 dozen in the corresponding period last year.
