RELEASED IN PALESTINE. RANSOMED AFTER CAPTURE BY ARABS. By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright. (Received This Day, 9.40 a.m.) JERUSALEM, December 29. Mr Louis le Bouvier has arrived at Jericho. He said he was ransomed, whereupon Suleiman, a bandit chief, provided an Arabic passport requesting a safe passage. Mr le Bouvier was released yesterday afternoon and took his bearings from the sun and walked until he reached a Greek monastery, where he spent the night. The monks escorted him to Jericho.

Mr le Bouvier, manager of the Ottoman Bank of Jerusalem, was reported a few days ago to have been kidnapped. The Government offered a reward of £5OO for information leading to his recovery.
