A HOUSE PARTY

FESTIVITIES AT LANSDOWNE. Mrs S. Burling assisted by her daughters. Mrs Madden and Miss Burling, entertained a large house party over Christmas at her residence, Kandahar, Lansdowne. Among the guests were Mr and Mrs W. W. Rowntree, of Christchurch, Mr and Mrs C. Johansen, of Napier, Mrs J. Robbie, of Palmerston North, Miss N. Ingley, of Longbush, Messrs lan Bowden, of Wellington, J. Richards and W. Ball, of Masterton. The guests had a most enjoyable time at various games and the festivities went with a real Christmas spirit.
