BOWLING TOURNAMENT. (“Times-Age” Special.) At the Featherston Bowling Club's annual tournament ten rinks competed, two each from Masterton, - Martinborough and Greytown, and four rinks were composed of Featherston players. The tournament was won by Fuge, James, O’Neale, and Rolls (s), with four wins out of five, and aggregate points 74. Others with four wins were Bloxam 72, Taylor 61, and Morton 48. Higgison 21, beat Bain 6; Bloxam 14, beat Vile 9. Personal Items. Mr J. Till, of Wellington, was successful recently in passing in the three subjects which he took for his L.L.8., Property Contracts, and Latin. Mr Till is a son of Mrs J. Till, of Wadestown, who for many yearfe lived in Featherston where Mr J. Till received his primary education. Scoutmaster J. A. Halpin and Scouts J. Houston and G. Fellingham left by the s.s. Awatea to attend the Scout Jamboree in Sydney.
Mr and Mrs J. Lenihan, and Mr and Mrs M. Lenihan, Greymouth, are the guests of Mr and Mrs Lenihan, Pihautea.
Mrs A. Donald, who is on an extended visit to Sydney, will sail on January 13 for Wellington. Mrs C. Bargh, Pihautea, is visiting Dannevirke.
