BY=ELECTIONS IN BRITAIN
THREE NOW PENDING. (British Official Wireless.) (Received This Day, 9.33 a.m.) RUGBY, December 28. The death has occurred of Sir Servington Savery, M.P., for Holderness, Yorkshire. There are now three by-elections pending—in East Norfolk, where the Liberal National member, Viscount Elmley, on the death of his father, Earl Beauchamp, has become a member of the House of Lords; Ripon. Yorkshire, where there is a vacancy owing to the death of Major J. W. Hills and Holderness.
