EGYPT A DEMOCRACY
DECLARATION BY PREMIER. (British Official Wireless.) CAIRO, December 21. The Chamber of Deputies cheered the Premier (Mahmoud Pasha) when he declared that Egypt was democratic. "I am proud to declare openly," he said, “that neither I nor the Parliament of the country generally wishes to copy the methods of countries other than the real democracies."
