I DOG REGISTRATION, 1939. is hereby given that in accordance with the provisions of the Dog Registration Act, 1908, Mr Edwin Thomas Beaven has been appointed Registrar under the above Act, and Messrs Robert James Trethewey and William Tahana have been appointed collectors; that the County Offices, Memorial Square, Carterton, the residence of the said Robert James Trethewey, Pembroke Street, Carterton, and the residence of William Tahana, Gladstone, have been appointed registration offices at which dogs may be registered; and that for the year 1939 the fees to be paid for registration of dogs shall be as follows: — Each Dog Dogs kept solely for the purpose of herding sheep or cattle 2/6 Dogs, in packs of not less than three, kept solely for the purpose of destroying rabbits 1/6 All other dogs 5/The Dogs Registration (Prevention of Hydatid Disease) Regulations, 1938, requires that an approved remedy (known as Arecoline Hydrobromide) for the cure or prevention of hydatid disease in dogs shall be supplied to dog owners at the time of registration, and that the fee payable in respect of the supply of the approved remedy shall be 1/- for each dog registered. , ' The fee of 1/- payable in the above respect shall be extra to the dog registration fees enumerated above.
