NOTED SINGING TEAM
Jeanette MacDonald and Nelson Eddy are co-starred in singing roles ir “The Girl of.,.the Golden West,” which opens at the Regent Theatre with a midnight matinee at 10 p.m. tomorrow. In the adaptation of the famous Belasco play, the' picture has been enhanced ,by one .of the loveliest musical scores heard., on the screen in some time. Among the numbers that will not be forgotten arc “Senorita,” “Who Are We to .Say,” “Shadows on the Moon," “The Wind in the Trees,” “From-Sun-up to Sundown,” “Soldiers of Fortune”, and "Mariachie,” a lavish Spanish festival that includes Madame Rasch’s .dancers. Contributing outstanding performances in a distinguished supporting cast are Waltey Pidgeon. Leo Carrillo. Buddy Ebsen, Leonard Penn, .Priscilla Lawson, Bob Murphy and Olin Rowland.
