At the conclusion of the inquest on Annie Wiseman and her niece Phyllis, the Coroner committed George Green, achimney-sweep, aged 38, for trial on a charge of murder. Miss Annie Wiseman, aged 62, and her niece, Miss Phyllis Wiseman, aged 17, were found strangled in their home at Glenroy, Melbourne.
