— t POPE COLLAPSES WHILE DICTATING. ORDERED REST bV DOCTORS. By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright. (Received This Day, 10.40 a.m.) ROME, December 20. The Pope, while dictating letters, suddenly collapsed and was placed in bed, unconscious. Later he recovered slightly. The doctors are very perturbed regarding the condition of the Pope, who wanted again to start work when he regained consciousness, but the doctors forbade him even to talk.
