In due course a suitable new location was found, and in November, 1933, the business was removed to Bannister Street. Since then the firm of Fagan Motors, Ltd., has made remarkable progress, and today is one of the largest organisations of its kind in this district. Early this year it was realised that considerable extensions were necessary if the continued increase in business was to be handled efficiently. The properties adjoining the original garage were acquired, and the whole of the premises were planned anew. The result is now to be seen in the magnificent new garage of Fagan Motors, Ltd., just completed. It is a large steel frame and concrete structure, and running right through the centre of the building is a fireproof reinforced concrete dividing wall. The building covers an area of well over twenty-five thousand square feet, and must be amongst the largest and best-euipped motor organisations in any provincial district in New Zealand. With such an up-to-date and well-equipped garage, and a staff of thirty-four, Fagan Motors, Ltd., can render an excellent service to the motoring public. As an example of the way in which the convenience of clients has been studied, there are five different entrances to the premises. MODERN SERVICE STATION. The main entrance to the building is through a large and imposing service department. Flanking the footpajh is the row of petrol pumps, which can be approached from either side. lhe
