ROAD CYCLE RACE

FOR JOCK NUTT MEMORIAL. A memorial cycle road race is to be held on Saturday, January 21 for the ‘‘Jock Nutt” Memorial Trophy which is open to all schoolboys in the Wairarapa from Standard VI up to 17 years of age. The race is being held on a Saturday for convenience the real anniversary occasion being Friday, January 20. The race will start at 1.30 p.m. from the Dyerville Hall then in to Martinborough round by the racecourse and cemetery and back into Martinborough, then through the grassy road at Kahutara connecting with the main Kahu-tara-Pirinoa road, turning on to Lower Valley road and finishing at the Dyerville Hall. Of the three prizes to be awarded the first will be a road racer . and (he second a high grade bicycle . with the third a special prize. j
