Reuter’s correspondent at Rome says the Pope had a heart attack. It was first stated that his condition was alarming, but later it was reported that his Holiness had recovered and that his condition was not as serious as was feared. ATTACK DENIED. POPE TO CELEBRATE MASS TODAY. (Received This Day, 10.15 a.m.) ROME, December 19. Vatican circles deny that the Pope had a heart attack and say he will celebrate Mass tomorrow, being the sixtieth anniversary of his entry into the priesthood.
