OBITUARY
DR. EBENEZER TEICHELMANN. NOTABLE FIGURE ON WEST COAST. (By Telegraph—Press ■ Association.) HOKITIKA, This Day. The death occurred this morning of Dr. Ebehezer Teichelmann, aged 79 years, for many years Medical Superintendent of the Westland Hospital, retiring 18 years ago. Dr. Teichelmann was a notable mountaineer in earlier years, a member of the Borough Council, the Acclimatisation Society, 'the Progress League, a member of "the Arthurs Pass Scenic Board and has been a notable figure in Westland ;for over many years. He had no family and his wife died many years ago.
