A Scottish visitor to Rhodesia was taken by a Bulawayo friend to the famous World’s View, a desolate and rocky spot. When he arrived at the top, the Scotsman surveyed the mighty panorama in every direction. “Mon,” he' said, in awestruck tones, “what an awfu’ place tae lose a gowf ba’.”
