UNFOUNDED RUMOUR
NO FACIAL EZCEMA OUTBREAK IN WAIRARAPA. A rumour circulating freely in Masterton, that facial eczema had broken out in the Wairarapa was stated to be entirely unfounded by the Government veterinarian, Mr W. J. Gray. No sheep had been condemned at the Waingawa works. Mr Gray suggested that the rumour might have arisen when a number of sheep were selected at Waingawa for liver experimentation.
