“THE MESSIAH”
AT METHODIST CHURCH. The rare opportunity of hearing this oratorio, .“The Messiah,” which is so typical of the great Christmas message of the season, will be presented to residents of Masterton tomorrow evening. when an augmented senior choir in the Methodist Church will render this masterpiece. The choir, under the baton of Mr S. H. Ralph, has been assiduously practising for many weeks, and the result should be chorus work both thrilling and interpretive, with volume more than sufficient for the requirements of the work. The solo work which makes such great demands in this oratorio will be in the capable hands of Miss Ralph, soprano; Mrs J. Speight, contralto: Mr H. J. Jones, tenor; and Mr D. Irwin, bass, while the exacting grand organ music will b(? played by the church organist. Miss Jones, L.A.B.
