An earthquake lasting for several seconds, with a long swaying motion, was felt here at 5.20 o’clock this morning. Although fairly heavy no damage is reported. BUILDINGS SWAY. QUAKE FELT IN GORE. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) GORE, This Day. An earthquake of unusual severity and sufficient to sway buildings was experienced in the Gore district at 5.20 o’clock this morning. No damage is reported. The quake intensity was 6 on the Rossi-Forel scale.
