Mr H. M. Boddington reports that 9 points of rain fell at Solway during the 24 hours ended 9 a.m. today.
General situation: The last part, of yesterday’s depression is still crossing the North Island, the lowest pressure at 9 a.m. being near New Plymouth; a weak anti-cyclone is located over the North Tasman Sea. Forecast, light to fresh south-westerly winds, predominating; weather overcast, with intermittent rain at first but improving; temperatures moderate.
