SWORDFISH RESEARCH
AMERICAN EXPEDITION. COMING TO NEW ZEALAND. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) (Received This Day, 11.55 a.m.) MONTREAL, December 15. Continuing a world-wide scientific survey of the swordfish, an American museum Natural History expedition, headed by Mr Michael Lerner, is leaving Los Angeles on January 4 for research in Nev; Zealand and Australia. The expedition has already investigated the Nova Scotian and Bahamas waters. It includes the noted Miami angler, Captain William Hatch. Field laboratories are to be erected close to the fishing grounds.
