♦ BRITAIN SEEKS DISCUSSION WITH GERMANY. NO DEFINTE REPLY RECEIVED. (British Official Wireless.) RUGBY, December 14. Mr R. A. Butler, Parliamentary Under-Secretary for Foreign Affairs, stated in the House of Commons that, regarding facilities for emigration of Jews from Germany, Britain had from tiqje to time been in communication with Germany about an initiation of discussions between the German authorities and a director of the inter-Gov-ernmental Committee concerning the question, but no definite reply had been received.
