MASTERTON STOCK SALE
F. C. D. COMPANY LTD. The N.Z. Farmers’ Co-op. Distrib. Co. Ltd. report: Wo offered a moderate entry of steers and large yarding of cows and heifers. Except for the most attractive station bred lines, particularly yearling heifers, for which the market was at the best of the season, slightly lower values prevailed. Heavy supplies of fat cattle had an effect on the demand. Heavy and wasteful cows were down 20s to 30s per head. The following are some of our principal sales:

A good entry of fat sheep was cleared at the following prices: Prime heavy ewes, Ils 9d to 14s; light 9s fid to Ils; b.f. two tooths, 17s 6d; weaner pigs sold to 245.
