DEPARTING TEACHERS

PRESENTATIONS AT COLLEGE. SERVICES EULOGISED. At the Wairarapa College this morning presentations were made by the staff to two teachers who are leaving at the end of the term, Miss A. J. Shelton. who is leaving shortly for Rotorua, and Miss J. Scott who is to be married in the near future.

The presentations were made by Mr G. W. Morice, who handed to Miss Shelton a leather handbag and Io Miss Scott a crystal water set. Mr Morice stated that Miss Shelton had been 10 years on the staff of the Technical School and the Wairarapa College and Miss Scott 2! years. He referred to the excellent service to education rendered by both ladies, his remarks being supported by the Principal, Mr G. G. Hancox.

The recipients suitably acknowledged the presentations, and referred to the pleasant time they had experienced as members of the staff.
