HOSPITAL CONFERENCE
WAIRARAPA BOARD REMITS. TRAINING OF MAORI NURSES. The Wairarapa Hospital Board decided at its meeting today to forward the following remits to the annual conference of Hospital Boards: — “That a committee of representatives of Hospital Boards and the Health Department formulate standard plans for hospital buildings; the committee to meet from time to time to amend the plans in accordance with modern hospital requirements.” “That hospital board debentures be accepted as trustee securities.” “That provision be made by the Health Department and the Native Department for the training of Maori girls in public hospitals with the object of making these services available later in Maori settlements.”
