ENTRANCES TO HOSPITAL
PROPOSED IMPROVEMENTS.
DEPUTATION TO BOARD
Proposals for the improvement and beautification of the street entrances to the Masterton Hospital were placed before the Wairarapa Hospital Board at its meeting today by a deputation from the Masterton Beautifying Society. The deputation consisted of Messrs A. W. Reynolds and L. Robinson.
The chairman, Mr H. H. Mawley, said he was very keen to see the entrance to the hospital improved in appearance. He felt sure that everyone appreciated the splendid work done by the society. The matter was referred to the Finance Committee with power to act.
The proposals include the rounding of the corners of Blair Street and Columba Road, the erection of a shelter shed at the corner of Blair Street and the formation of a footpath on the cast side of the same street.
