MOTORING FACILITIES
AUTOMOBILE ASSOCIATION ACTIVITIES. It is made quite easy in these days for motorists to find their way around the district, thanks to the complete sign-posting of .all roads by the Wairarapa Automobile Association. This association, in common with others in different parts of New Zealand, has done invaluable work on behalf of holiday-makers in this and other ways. The Wairarapa Association has taken a leading part in the establishment an* equipment of camping grounds in all parts of the district and in this connection it is of interest to note that this week a fine new camping area is being opened in the Eketahuna Domain, on the Alfredton Road. These facilities ax> available for the general public while members of the association are entitled to many other privileges, such as the planning of tours, hotel concessions, road information, road guides and a “get you home” service.
