Paris designers praise Queen Elizabeth’s revival of the crinoline at the banquet for King Carol of Roumania. when she wore 15 yards of silver grey material in her skirt. Fashion houses are working overtime making crinolines. They declare that Queen Elizabeth is showing women how to wall: gracefully once more. The new crinoline is unlike the Victorian fashion. It is more supple, permitting travel by motor car without damage or loss of dignity. The style suits all figures. Deportment professors declare that the fashion means that women must glide and cease the “hopping” habit that resulted from the tight-skirt vogue.
