PLUNKET SOCIETY

CARTERTON BRANCH MEETING. The monthly meeting of lhe Carterton branch of the Plunket Society was held yesterday, there being present Mesdames Callender, Dyer. Udy and Trapp. Apologies for absence were received from Mesdames Steel. Robinson and Philpotts. The nurse’s report for November | was: —New cases 11, visits to homes, new cases 2u; old eases 120; visits to rooms, adults 104, babies 78, children 23; telephone cans, 32; scales lent 4 times; car mileage 530. Miss Fitzgibbon, Nursing Adviser to the Dominion Council, visited the branch on November 30. Mrs Trapp gave an account of the conference in Wellington. At this conference it was decided to revert to a biennial general conference, the next to bo held in Wellington in 1940. IL was decided to close the rooms from December 24 to December 28 and from January 1 to January 4. Accounts amounting to £3O 17s 6d were passed for payment.
