(“Times-Age” Special.) The Mauriceville East School Committee at its ordinary meeting arranged the' details of the breaking up ceremony to be held on Tuesday, December 13, at 2 p.m. It was decided to ask Mr J. The school committee extended to Mr Mac Govern (chairman) a vote of thanks and appreciation for the interest he takes in the agricultural work of the school. The local tennis club' was also thanked for its generosity in making its court available for play by the school pupils, while the school court is under repair.

A vote of thanks was passed to the head teacher (Mrs Childs) for the excellent reports gained during the year.

Some concern was expressed by members of the committee at the delay in rebuilding the school, and it was decided that the secretary (Mr J. Milner) should communicate with the Minister in an endeavour to expedite the rebuilding.
