PRIMARY SCHOOLS CRICKET. , MATCH PLAYED AT MASTERTON. Yesterday afternoon and this morning a cricket match was played on the Masterton Park Oval between teams representing the Wairarapa and Wellington Primary schools. Wairarapa in the first innings compiled 104 runs to which Wellington replied with 39, Ross (5 wickets) bowling well for Wairarapa and the feilding being good, especially that of Davies. In the second innings Wairarapa put together 68 runs, and Wellington hit up 158 runs for 5 wickets, thus winning the match. Berry and Towns batted well for Wairarapa, the latter obtaining double figure* in each innings.
