WORK REFUSED
TROUBLE AT PORT KEMBLA. MEN REFUSE TO TAKE OUT LICENCES. 5y Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright SYDNEY, December 9. The waterside dispute at Port Kembla was taken a further stage today when the local wharfmen refused to ake out licences and also ignored calls for labour for the steamers Dalfram and Ellaroo.
The men are picketing the wharves, out there is no sign of disorder. There is no immediate likelihood of he dispute spreading to the Sydney wharves, but the fact that no labour is offering at Port Kembla will greatly nconvenience the local steel works ind the south coast collieries.
