GERMANY READY TO GIVE GUARANTEE FORM NOT YET SETTLED. DISCUSSION WITH FRANCE. By Telegraph—Press Association —Copyright. PRAGUE. December 9. It is officially learned that, during his visit to Paris, the German Foreign Minister, Herr von Ribbentrop, told the Frehch Ministers that Germany was ready to guarantee Czechoslovakia's new frontiers, and would endeavour to induce Poland and Hungary to give a similar Undertaking. The French Ministers urged Germany also to -use her influence to obtain a ddblaration of Italy’s readiness to do likewise. This, they suggested, should be followed by diplomatic negotiations about the form the guarantee should take. HEAVY LOSSES. ONE-THIRD OF PEOPLE TRANSFERRED. LONDON. December 9. The Prague correspondent of the ■Daily Telegraph” says official statistics reveal that by the Munich Agreement Czechoslovakia lost .4,922,440 inhabitants, or one-third of her former Deputation, and 29.6 per cent of her territory.
