MEASURES OF REPRESSION IN GERMANY SENTENCES IN PEOPLE’S COURT. TWENTY PERSONS AWAITING TRIAL. By Telegraph—Press Association —Copyright. (Received This Day, 12.50 p.m.) BERLIN, December 8. Charged with spreading Communism on behalf of an international Socialist fighting force, three men were sentenced in the People’s Court respectively to 3,2 and 1| years’ imprisonment. The prosecution alleged that the men spread propaganda by pamphlets and gramophone records smuggled from abroad. This is the second group tried this week. It is understood that twenty persons are awaiting trial.*
