AUSTRALIAN BILL DROPPED INAUGURATION OF SCHEME POSTPONED. SOLUTION OF CABINET ( PROBLEM. By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright. . CANBERRA, December 8. The Federal Cabinet today decided to drop the National Insurance Bill, which required contributions to begin next May, and to delay the proclamation of the original Act till probably May or June of next year. This decision, says the “Sun’s” Canberra correspondent, solves the problem of the threatened resignation of the Attorney-General, Mr R. G. Menzies, and the Treasurer, Mr R. G. Casey.
