Mrs Miller, High Street, Masterton, is visiting Wellington. Miss Sorensen, of Carterton, is at present on a visit to Sydney. Mrs J. B. Henry, of Remuera, Auckland, is visiting Masterton. Mrs T. W. Wardell, of Te Whiti, has returned from a visit to Auckland. Mr and Mrs D. Warren, of Pirinoa, are spending a holiday at Cape Palliser.
Mrs Guy Holmes, Sussex Street, Masterton, is spending a few days at Otaki Beach.
Mrs F. Jewell, Wellington, has been spending a few days with Miss N. Williams, Victoria Street, Masterton.
Mrs A. C. Major, Vpper Plain, and the Misses Brown, Church Street, left today on a short holiday to Otaki Beach.
Mr and Mrs C. Saville, Wakelin Street, Carterton, have motored to Whakatane, where they are spending their annual holiday. Miss Buckeridge, Wellington, who was the guest of Mr and Mrs Swanson, Lake Ferry, is spending a few days with Mrs Brough, Martinborough.
Mrs J. A. M. Clachan, of Hamilton, who will leave in January for her new home in Australia, is at present on a visit to relatives in Masterton.
-' Miss Nell Cohen, of New Plymouth, and formerly of Masterton, was successful in passing with credit the senior Entrance Examination for Government shorthand typists, held last month.
