Anti-French demonstrations have occurred in Naples, Turin, Florence and other cities, thousands of students marching and singing: "Long live Tunis! ’ The Press significantly announces that the Under-Secretary for War is inspecting the Sardinia defence, adjacent to Corsica. It was reported from Rome yesterday that the tub-thumping articles about Italy’s anti-French territorial claims in Tunis and Corsica had disappeared from the newspapers.
