BASEBALL MEETING
AN ASSOCIATION FORMED. An enthusiastic meeting of 25 supporters last night decided to form a Wairarapa Baseball Association and practice games will commence on Saturday of this week, preparatory to match games being played in the New Year It was reported at the meeting that at least four Masterton teams could be organised for immediate competition and that support was also promised from intending players down the Valley. A provisional committee was set up to formulate definite plans for active commencement of the game, and to ieport to a further general meeting on Wednesday. December 21. The committee appointed was as follows: Messrs Baybutt (chairman). Bradbury. Claridge, Handy, Allen. Welsh, Bodie. Mills and Parsonson (secretary).
