Miss R. Hunter, Lansdowne, spent the weekend in Wellington. Miss S. Edwards, Nelson, is staying with Mrs S. R. Gawith, Upper Plain. Mrs Warlow, of Wakarara, is the guest of Mrs A. Rankin, of Pongaroa. Miss Betty Johnston, of Pongaroa, was a visitor to Foxton for the Mar-tin-McKenzie wedding. Miss Betty Coleman, Worksop Road, Masterton, left yesterday by the Awatea to spend two months in Sydney. Miss P. Robieson, Wellington, spent the weekend with Mrs W. H. Robieson, King Edward Street, Lansdowne. Mr and Mrs S. Robieson, Wellington, have been spending a few days with Miss E. Robieson, Pownall Street, Masterton. Mrs Middleton, who has been staying with her mother, Mrs H. Dillon, Church Street, Masterton, has returned to Ormondville. Mrs S. La Roche and Mrs Tooman are the guests of Mrs W. L. Hunter, Coradine Street, Masterton, before leaving for Christchurch. Mr and Mrs W. J. Knell, Greytown, have returned to their home after a holiday spent in Christchurch and Picton, and a visit to their daughter and son-in-law, Mr and Mrs Nigel Maitland, Waipawa, Hawke’s Bay.
