The Rev Hayes Lloyd, pastor of Lower Hutt Church, was also present. Mr North stated that he was exceedingly pleased to meet the Masterton Baptists and assured those present that now he knew how keen they were he would do all in his power to help the, cause along.
Mr W. Teeboon thanked Mr North for his message, and at the same time extended a hearty invitation to him to come again.
Commencing next year, it was decided to hold these meeting fortnightly. The Lower Hutt Church has accepted the responsibility of providing a speaker and transport for each service. The next service will be held on Tuesday, January 24th.
